About Us blessing

Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel has a robust technological infrastructure, with leading-edge technologies, which create a secure system for its clients and attorneys. Goodsill practices the tenets of Defense-in-Depth (layered security that keeps the system safe even if a layer is breached.) Our state-of-the-art online and in-house legal research libraries enhance attorneys’ search capabilities and result in increased efficiency and reduced costs to the client.

Goodsill uses technology to leverage the benefits of collaboration in a firm of its size. It operates a secure document management system — an FTP (file transfer protocol) site, end-to-end email encryption delivery (supporting transport layer security, TLS, and static secure sockets layer, SSL) and extranet.

All clients have login access to an extranet area designed specifically for them. The result is a virtual office where documents, calendars, tasks and message threads can be shared in one safe space between client and attorney. This space eases communication on complex matters.

Clients’ security and privacy are a priority at Goodsill. The firm uses the best resources available in line with industry standards. Clients are assured that data is available when needed and only by those who have access. As technologies change and the firm’s and clients’ needs adapt with them, Goodsill is committed to staying on the forefront of technological and security advances.

NOTICE: If you are contacting Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP or one of its lawyers regarding a possible representation, e-mail is not the recommended way to engage an attorney. The sending or receipt of an e-mail does not create an attorney-client relationship. To obtain legal counsel or legal services from Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel LLP, you must first establish an attorney-client relationship with the firm. Until you have gone through the firm’s intake process and receive an engagement letter from a Goodsill attorney, you have not become a client of the firm. The best way to inquire about a possible new representation is to call (808) 547-5600. You will be put in touch with an attorney who can determine that there is no conflict of interest and that the firm is willing and otherwise able to accept your engagement. If a determination is made to accept the engagement, you will receive an engagement letter. You are not a client unless and until you receive an engagement letter.

Please do not send us any information or documents before you have received an engagement letter. Any information or documents sent prior to your receipt of an engagement letter cannot be treated as private, confidential or otherwise protected, and we may be able to represent a party adverse to you even if the information you submit to us could be used against you.
