Denver S. Coon concentrates his practice in the areas of mergers and acquisitions and corporate law.  

Denver graduated magna cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2015. While attending law school he received CALI Excellence for the Future awards in Trusts and Estates, Conflicts of Law, Second Year Seminar, and Legislation and Statutory Interpretation. In addition, Denver received the Linnel Nishioka-HECO Excellence in Environmental Law Writing Award for a scholarly article he wrote discussing the need to modernize Hawai‘i’s Administrative Procedure Act.

Prior to joining Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel, Denver worked as General Counsel to Trilogy Excursions on the island of Maui. His duties included contract drafting and review, negotiations, and compliance with federal, state, and county laws. Denver also worked closely with various for-profit and non-profit organizations in the ocean tourism industry during the legislative session, helping draft both legislation and testimony.
