Dylan J. Taschner
Dylan J. Taschner concentrates his practice in the area of bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation and corporate law.
Dylan grew up on Oahu and graduated from Kalani High School. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration (marketing emphasis) from Chapman University in Orange County, California where he played on the soccer team. Before entering law school, Dylan worked in the sports and entertainment marketing industry.
Dylan graduated cum laude from the William S. Richardson School of Law. As a law student, he served as the Managing Editor to the University of Hawai‘i Law Review.
Dylan also received CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, given to the student with the highest grade, in various classes: High Growth Entrepreneurship, Debtors and Creditors’ Rights, Advanced Torts and Insurance Law, Negotiations and Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Legal Practice II. He also received the Cades Schutte Scholarship, the McCorriston Miller Mukai MacKinnon Scholarship, the James E. T. Koshiba Scholarship, the James E. T. Koshiba Law Review Scholarship, and the Clinton R. Ashford and Marguerite K. Ashford Memorial Scholarship. In addition, Dylan competed as a member of the Native American Moot Court Team, earning two national quarterfinalist finishes, and an individual award for Third Best Overall Oralist in 2015.
