Biography

Nicholas K. N. Kido concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation. Prior to joining Goodsill, Nicholas worked as a litigation associate at another Honolulu law firm.

Nicholas received his J.D. from the University of Hawai’i, William S. Richardson School of Law. While there he served as a Judicial Extern for the Honorable Karen T. Nakasone of the First Circuit Court of Hawai’i and was an intern for a law firm in Tokyo, Japan, specializing in patent and trademark law. Nicholas was also a member of Richardson’s Native American Moot Court team where he honed his courtroom skills.

Before entering the legal field, Nicholas received his B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the University of Redlands and worked as a forensic accountant for four years at CBIZ MHM, LLC in Los Angeles, California.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Nicholas was born and raised in Honolulu and is a graduate of Punahou School. While at the University of Redlands, Nicholas served as a captain for the school’s division-champion football team. In his free time, Nicholas enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and is an avid baseball fan. He has also been an enthusiastic volunteer at the Joy of Sake events in Honolulu, Tokyo, and the mainland, honoring his Grandfather’s legacy as a sake brew master in Hawai’i.
