Hawai‘i Supreme Court Certifies Goodsill Attorney Johnathan C. Bolton in Business Bankruptcy Law

Nov 26, 2012

(Honolulu, Hawai‘i — November 26, 2012) — Johnathan C. Bolton received a certificate of specialization in business bankruptcy law from the Supreme Court of Hawai‘i.  Bolton is the first attorney to receive this distinction in Hawai‘i.

The certificate of specialization is based on Bolton’s prior certification by the American Board of Certification (ABC), a non-profit organization sponsored by the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Commercial Law League of America whose programs are accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA). Board certification helps the public make informed decisions when choosing legal counsel. Applicants for certification by the ABC must meet rigorous, objective standards relative to their field of practice and pass a written examination.

“It is a great honor to have a Goodsill attorney be the first attorney in Hawai‘i to get this certification from the Hawai‘i Supreme Court,” said Peter Kashiwa, managing partner.

The ABC is the nation’s premier legal specialty organization dedicated to serving the public and improving the quality of the bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law bars.
