THE HAWAII CAPTIVE INSURANCE COUNCIL HAS ELECTED PAUL B. SHIMOMOTO PRESIDENT FOR 2022.

(Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – June 16, 2022) –Goodsill Anderson Quinn & Stifel congratulates Paul B. Shimomoto for being elected President of the Hawaii Captive Insurance Council (HCIC) for 2022. For more than three decades, HCIC has been committed to promoting, developing, and maintaining a highly respected captive insurance industry in the State of Hawaii. In partnership with the State of Hawaii Insurance Division, the HCIC provides information and education on issues affecting captives, and assists the State of Hawaii in globally promoting Hawaii as the premier captive domicile in the Pacific Rim.

Prior to his election as President, Paul has served the HCIC as a director, officer, Chair of its Marketing Committee and as its Government and Industry Liaison. He has also been a frequent speaker at HCIC’s annual educational forum and its roadshow events, and he has been responsible for organizing HCIC’s annual educational seminars in Japan. “I am honored to serve in this role for HCIC. I am very appreciative that our membership and board trust and believe in my ability to serve in this capacity for the organization. I look forward to furthering the organization’s efforts to improve the domicile and enhance the benefits we offer our members.” said Paul Shimomoto.
