Biography

Vasana focuses in the areas of tax, business and nonprofit law, and trusts and estates. Prior to joining Goodsill, Vasana was an associate in the Tax and Trusts & Estates practice group of another Hawaii law firm.

Vasana received her J.D. from the William S. Richardson School of Law. While in law school, she was an Editor for the University of Hawaii Law Review, a Research Assistant to Professor Nicholas Mirkay (Tax, Trusts & Estates), and a Teaching Assistant for Lawyering Fundamentals. 

Before practicing law, Vasana was a CPA in New York for twelve years and has worked for accounting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young. Before returning to Hawaii, she was a Tax Manager in Private Equity for Fortress Capital Finance, a global investment management firm. Vasana received her CPA license in 2003 and has an M.S. in Taxation from Pace University. 

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

In her free time, Vasana enjoys traveling and exploring hiking trails throughout Oahu.
