Biography
Lani helps clients navigate through complex commercial financing, particularly, real estate secured lending.
She represents lenders and borrowers in a variety of financial transactions including term loans, revolving lines of credit, construction loans, asset based financing, loan participations and workouts. Lani also has experience in general real estate matters, including acquisitions, leases and sales of commercial properties.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
Lani currently chairs Hawai’i’s Commission to Promote Uniform Legislation, which represents the State of Hawai‘i in the National Conference of Commissioners on Uniform State Laws (NCCUSL), the organization that drafted the Uniform Commercial Code and more than 200 other uniform acts in various fields of law for enactments by state legislatures throughout the U.S.
