Biography
Janice T. Futa area of expertise is litigation; from case work-up through trial. Specialty areas of civil litigation defense include product liability, professional malpractice, employment law, as well as other areas of general civil litigation defense. She has worked for a number of local firms in Honolulu serving both as Associate and Partner. In addition, her latest position was with the City & County of Honolulu as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney where, in addition to trying cases, she was head of the felony trial group of approximately 30 attorneys and their staff, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the criminal justice system.
