Biography

Stacy Ma concentrates her practice in the area of civil litigation, with a focus on personal injury, premises liability, and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Goodsill in 2015, Stacy worked in the Litigation Department of Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in New York City, where her practice focused on complex commercial litigation, securities class action litigation and shareholder derivative suits for privately and publicly held companies and their directors and officers. Stacy also advised financial services clients in regulatory investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by government and regulatory agencies, including the SEC and FINRA.

Stacy is a recipient of an Excellence in Pro Bono Advocacy Award from Sanctuary For Families, a New York non-profit organization, related to her trial work before the New York Integrated Domestic Violence Court.

OUTSIDE THE OFFICE

Stacy is not only a top litigator, she’s also a top chef who knows a thing or two about making homemade pastas and ice cream. When she’s not experimenting in the kitchen, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two young sons and golden retriever (preferably on the beach).
