Biography
Jay is an associate in Goodsill's corporate/M&A and real estate practice groups. His practice focuses on advising domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate transactions, including corporate governance, entity formation, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, and general business matters. In the real estate area, Jay’s practice focuses on the development, acquisition, sale, financing, and leasing of real property.
Jay received his law degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he was a student attorney in UCI’s Community and Economic Development Clinic and the Vice-Chair of the UCI Moot Court Board. During law school, Jay served as an extern for the Honorable Dean E. Ochiai (ret.) in the Circuit Court of the First Circuit, State of Hawaiʻi, and as a Summer Associate at Goodsill.
Jay received his Bachelor of Arts from UCLA, where he double-majored in Political Science and Communication. Jay was raised on Oʻahu and is a proud graduate of Mid-Pacific Institute.
