The Goodsill ‘Ohana Participated in the 2023 Hawaiʻi Lodging and Tourism Association’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk
On Saturday, May 6, the Goodsill ‘ohana participated in the 2023 Hawaiʻi Lodging and Tourism Association’s Visitor Industry Charity Walk. It was a beautiful morning of intermittent sun and cooling showers as good spirits abounded. The Walk started shortly after 7:00 a.m. and the crowd soon stretched itself along Ala Moana Park, the Convention Center Promenade, and Kalakaua Avenue.
Along the way, we were fortunate enough to run into Goodsill client and event sponsors Kyo-ya Hotels and Resort and Hilton, and old friends from the Outrigger Hotels. We even ran into a few former Goodsill employees. Event organizers report that over $2.2 million was raised this year alone. All funds raised will go to non-profit organizations that support keiki, kupuna and underserved communities in our state. All in all, it was a wonderful way to get in some exercise and fresh air in support of our community.
