Goodsill Announces the Promotion of Jamie Fukumoto to Partner

Goodsill is pleased to announce that Jamie Fukumoto has been promoted to Partner, effective January 1, 2025.

A key member of the firm’s Corporate, Captive Insurance, and Japan Practice Groups, Jamie advises clients on business entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and captive insurance matters.

Born and raised in Hawai‘i, she earned her law degree from the University of Hawai‘i William S. Richardson School of Law and is admitted to practice in both Hawai‘i and New York. Before joining Goodsill, she spent eight years at leading international law firms in Tokyo, where she represented multinational corporations and private equity funds in complex cross-border transactions. Her fluency in Japanese and deep understanding of the Japanese business landscape have been instrumental in strengthening Goodsill’s Japan Practice Group.
