Goodsill was pleased to join fellow members of the Exit Planning Exchange (XPX) Hawaii for a Networking Social on July 23, 2026, at the Kaliu Showroom in Honolulu. The gathering brought together professionals from across Hawaiʻi’s business advisory community to build relationships, exchange perspectives and strengthen collaboration on behalf of privately held businesses.
Through its Mergers & Acquisitions practice group led by partners Daniel Lam and Jamie Fukumoto, Goodsill is proud to be a founding member of XPX Hawaii, together with Accuity and American Savings Bank. XPX Hawaii is the local chapter of the national Exit Planning Exchange, an organization that brings together multidisciplinary professionals who advise privately held businesses and their owners.
XPX takes a holistic approach to exit planning, recognizing that preparing for a successful transition is not simply a transaction at the end of a business owner’s journey. Rather, thoughtful planning throughout the life of a business can help owners strengthen their companies, build value, prepare for ownership transitions and create lasting legacies for their families, employees and communities.
The XPX model brings together professionals from a range of disciplines, including attorneys, accountants, bankers, wealth advisors, consultants, investors, valuation professionals and M&A advisors. By encouraging collaboration among these professionals, XPX helps create a more coordinated network of expertise for business owners navigating important decisions throughout the business life cycle.
The July Networking Social provided another opportunity to strengthen those connections within Hawaiʻi’s business community. Professionals who work with business owners gathered to share expertise, develop relationships, and explore ways to better support clients seeking to grow and maximize the value of their businesses.
As a founding member of XPX Hawaii, Goodsill is excited to help establish and grow this collaborative network in Hawaiʻi and specifically to help business owners in successful exit transactions to family members, management/key personnel, or third-party buyers.
