Goodsill is pleased to announce that Partner Lisa Bail has been reappointed to serve a second term on the Board of the American Bar Association’s Center for Human Rights (CHR) for the 2026–2027 term.

The Center for Human Rights works to advance and protect human rights through three complementary areas: convening experts to help shape international human rights norms and standards; coordinating pro bono legal support for frontline human rights movements conducting investigations and litigation; and producing evidence-based research and advocacy on critical human rights issues.

Lisa’s reappointment reflects her longstanding commitment to service within the American Bar Association. Prior to joining the CHR Board, she served a nine-year term as Hawaiʻi State Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. Goodsill Partner Stacy Ma began her term this year as Hawaiʻi State Delegate, continuing the firm’s active involvement in the ABA at the national level. As a member of the House of Delegates, Stacy participates in the consideration and debate of resolutions affecting the legal profession, represents Hawaiʻi in ABA policymaking and holds an important voting role in ABA governance and future leadership. After being elected as Hawaiʻi State Delegate, Stacy was subsequently appointed as Vice-Chair of the House of Delegates Tellers Committee. Her roles with the ABA provides valuable opportunities to build relationships with legal leaders from across the country.
