David J. Reber

David J. Reber

I’ve had the good fortune of having a challenging legal career and working with talented colleagues, all while raising a family in one of the most beautiful and culturally diverse places in the world.

David applies his 45 years of experience to helping businesses succeed. His practice is focused on representing clients in business dealings, issuers in their registered and exempt securities offerings, and buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions. In addition, David also assists boards and committees in discharging their fiduciary duties.

As Goodsill’s most senior partner, David has always embodied the saying, “Kulia i ka nu’u” (Strive to reach the summit).

David enjoys traveling, golfing and playing on the firm’s softball team. Go, Team Goodsill!

He served as President and Director of Hawai‘i Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice from its inception in 2001, under its original name Lawyers for Equal Justice, until 2020; and has been active in the work of the Hawai‘i Access to Justice Commission.
